Kultbox Kempten | Program & Parking

The kultBOX in Kempten is the flexible, intimate stage within the bigBOX ALLGÄU and is aimed at visitors who want to experience concerts, shows, and special evening events as closely as possible. The space is part of a modern event center on Kotterner Straße, which has been shaping the cultural and event offerings in Allgäu since 2003 and is very well accessible due to its central location at the southern end of the pedestrian zone. Those looking for kultBOX Kempten are usually not just searching for a venue, but a place with atmosphere, short distance to the stage, and a reliable framework for different event formats. This is exactly what the location offers: a compact room concept, professional infrastructure, and a stage suitable for intimate live moments as well as corporate events, comedy nights, or special show formats. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/veranstalter/kultbox))

For visitors, the kultBOX is particularly interesting because it combines the character of a smaller event space with the advantages of a large house and service world. The bigBOX ALLGÄU includes, among other things, a hotel with direct access, a restaurant, several bars, catering offers, and a wide event environment. This quickly turns a concert visit into a complete evening in the heart of Kempten, where arrival, catering, ticket purchase, and overnight stay seamlessly come together. This is why queries like kultBOX Kempten program, kultBOX today, upcoming events, parking, or seating plan are exciting for the location, as it convinces both culturally and practically. The following sections summarize the most important facts from official sources and organize them for visitors, ticket buyers, and event enthusiasts. Those interested in the program of the kultBOX Kempten will find a versatile cultural offering on the official website that extends well beyond mere concerts. The bigBOX ALLGÄU describes the kultBOX as a place for close concert experiences with a unique flair, while the cultural page expands the spectrum to include shows, theater performances, evening events, rock, pop, classical music, and cabaret. In the official event pages, formats such as poetry slam, comedy, tribute concerts, or seasonal special evenings also appear. This mix is relevant for queries like kultBOX Kempten events, kultBOX upcoming events, or kultBOX Kempten today, as the calendar is not limited to a narrow event type but is regularly filled with new dates. Therefore, anyone wondering what is currently happening in the kultBOX should use the official event calendar as the first point of contact, as upcoming highlights are bundled there. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/kultur))

When purchasing tickets, the bigBOX ALLGÄU relies on several practical methods. According to the FAQ, tickets can be ordered at the on-site ticket sales office, online in the webshop, or by phone; additionally, Ticketdirect is available as a digital ticket that can be printed out immediately after purchase or saved on a smartphone. For many visitors, it is particularly important that seats can be booked online in the seating plan in the webshop, as this allows for targeted seat selection. At the same time, the box office is not open for every event, as this depends on the respective organizer. Tickets for wheelchair users are also sold exclusively at the ticket sales office and can be ordered by phone, according to the official FAQ. Therefore, from an SEO perspective, the terms kultBOX tickets, seating plan, seats, and program are not only search volumes but real user questions with immediate practical benefit. The location covers the entire journey from discovering an event to purchasing and arriving. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/faqs?utm_source=openai))

Directions, Parking, and Car: How to Reach the kultBOX Kempten

The kultBOX is located in Kempten in a very central position, which is a significant advantage for visitors arriving by car. The bigBOX ALLGÄU specifies the destination address as Kotterner Straße 64, 87435 Kempten, and points out that arriving by car is uncomplicated despite the city center location. Around the location, there are several paid parking options available within a maximum of five minutes on foot, including the Forum Allgäu parking garage, the parking lot at the Allgäu-Halle, the parking garage at the Colosseum, the K&L-Ruppert underground garage, the Zentralhaus underground garage, and the Allgäu Center parking garage. This is a central point for queries like kultBOX Kempten parking or kultBOX car, as visitors want to know where they can realistically park their vehicle without a long walk. The proximity to the Forum Allgäu shopping center is particularly practical as it provides orientation and significantly simplifies arrival. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/anfahrt-parken))

The official FAQ also adds important details for real visit planning. In the Forum Allgäu parking garage, a special event rate of 4.00 euros applies for show and concert visitors, and the opening hours are 90 minutes before to 90 minutes after the event. A total of 1,000 parking spaces are available on 6 levels, including 30 accessible spaces. This is particularly relevant for visitors, as it allows for better planning of the evening and can reduce waiting times after the show if the parking ticket is validated before the event. There is also a special rate for guests of the bigBOX ALLGÄU hotel. Those who prefer to use public transportation can reach the location from Kempten main station in about 15 minutes on foot; additionally, the stops Kotterner Str./C&A, Kotterner Str./Vocational School Center, and Forum Allgäu are in close proximity. There is also a FlixBus stop right next to the bigBOX ALLGÄU. This means that the kultBOX is well connected not only by car but also by train and bus. Seating Plan, Seats, and Capacity in the kultBOX Kempten

The capacity of the kultBOX is one of the most important facts for visitors, organizers, and ticket buyers. Officially, the bigBOX ALLGÄU describes the space as an event area with 456 square meters, suitable for larger conferences and corporate celebrations starting from 200 people. Depending on the seating arrangement, whether on the same level or tiered, up to 570 participants can be accommodated. For concerts and shows, the kultBOX states a maximum capacity of 734 seated or up to 1,000 standing guests. This combination makes the space versatile: it is large enough to accommodate a decent live audience but small enough to maintain closeness to the stage and an intimate character. For the search terms kultBOX Kempten seats, kultBOX Kempten seating plan, or kultBOX Kempten events, this flexibility is the core of the answer, as the space does not function like a rigid hall but is adjusted according to the event. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/veranstalter/kultbox))

The architectural specifications underscore this impression. With a height of 4.8 meters, a variable stage solution, and seating arrangements with or without a grandstand, the kultBOX offers high adaptability for different formats. The spacious foyer with a bar serves as a reception area and supports networking, breaks, and the transition from arrival to event mode. This is why the location is interesting not only for classical concerts but also for trade fairs, presentations, product launches, or corporate events. For visitors, this means in practice: the seating plan is always event-dependent and should be checked carefully when purchasing tickets, as seating arrangements and stage positions can change depending on the format. Those looking for a close view of the stage benefit from the compact size of the room, as even in the rear areas, the distance remains relatively small. Thus, the kultBOX combines pragmatic overview with emotional closeness and is suitable for both standing concerts and seated evenings. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/veranstalter/kultbox))

Equipment, Atmosphere, and Room Concept of the kultBOX

A key reason for the popularity of the kultBOX lies in its mix of professional technology and deliberately intimate effect. The official presentation emphasizes state-of-the-art sound and lighting technology, which provides an optimal framework even for smaller bands, as well as a foyer bar that creates a cool atmosphere even at club concerts. In addition, the compact architecture of the space plays a role: the stage feels close, the audience experiences the show more directly, and the spatial distance between artists and guests remains small. For many concertgoers, this is exactly the appeal of the kultBOX, as here the monumentality of a large hall is not in the foreground, but the immediate live feeling. This closeness unfolds particularly strongly in comedy, cabaret, or acoustic formats. From an SEO perspective, this also explains why terms like kultBOX Allgäu or in the bigBOX Allgäu are so closely related: the space is small enough for intensity but technically and organizationally embedded in a large event structure. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/veranstalter/kultbox))

Additionally, the versatility for organizers strengthens the kultBOX as a venue. The kultBOX is not only a concert venue but, according to the official description, can also be used as an exhibition space for trade fairs or as a room for creative corporate celebrations, conferences, and discussions. This flexibility is not just marketing speak but can be seen in the room data and seating options. The space can be set up differently depending on the occasion, the stage is variable, and the foyer creates a second, communicative area beyond the actual hall space. This results in a venue that can quickly transform from a seating arrangement for lectures to a club setting for live music. For visitors, this is particularly attractive because different types of events take place at the same address, and the location can be experienced anew each time. For organizers, in turn, the multifunctionality reduces planning barriers and makes the kultBOX a realistically usable space in the medium size range. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/conference/detail/kultbox))

The kultBOX in the Context of the bigBOX ALLGÄU: Location, Service, and Experience

The kultBOX should not be thought of in isolation but as part of the bigBOX ALLGÄU as a whole location. The tourism page describes the event location built in 2003 as a multifunctional hall right next to the Forum Allgäu and emphasizes the various room sizes, modern technical equipment, boxes, catering offers, and several bars. For visitors, this means: An evening in the kultBOX is more than just the actual program point. It can be combined with a restaurant visit, bar stop, hotel stay, or a stroll through the city center. This connection makes the location particularly attractive for guests who are looking for not only the event itself but the whole experience. Those searching for kultBOX Kempten today often want to know exactly how the visit feels organizationally. The answer is: central, compact, service-oriented, and well integrated into an evening in Kempten. ([kempten-tourismus.de](https://www.kempten-tourismus.de/bigbox-allgaeu))

The overarching infrastructure also strengthens the kultBOX as an event location. The directly connected bigBOX HOTEL offers 124 modern rooms, the restaurant musics serves as a bar, lounge, and breakfast location, and in the conference area, a total of 15 flexible seminar rooms are available for groups of varying sizes. This makes the location not only culturally but also economically and touristically relevant. Visitors arriving for a concert or show benefit from short distances and can plan their evening in a relaxed manner. Organizers, in turn, receive an environment where gastronomy, accommodation, ticketing, and room logistics are considered together. The official presentation makes it clear that the bigBOX ALLGÄU, as the largest event house in the region, also provides the framework for the kultBOX, in which a small event can have a big impact. For all those researching kultBOX Kempten program, directions, or seating plan questions, a clear picture emerges: the space is small in scale but large in organizational quality. The Kultbox once again proves what good event organization should look like. Right at the entrance, the excellent structure stood out: no unnecessary waiting, clear pathways, and a friendly team that made the start of the evening pleasantly easy. Particularly noteworthy is the drink stand. Despite many visitors, things moved quickly, the staff was attentive, friendly, and well-coordinated. You never felt like you had to wait long – something that unfortunately is different in many other locations. The cloakroom was also excellently organized: quick service, no chaos, and a team that worked calmly and efficiently even with a large crowd. Overall, the entire concert was excellently managed and provided a consistently positive experience. The Kultbox manages to combine atmosphere, organization, and service at a high level. Conclusion: Concerts here are really fun – absolute recommendation!

Festive place, great acoustics! But: please create a spot where you can breathe fresh air or refresh yourself with cool water! Everything is very warm, I had circulation problems because of it, but I could only get fresh air in the smoking area(!). The tap water is only warm.

The Kultbox in Kempten is a real insider tip for anyone who appreciates live music and intimate concert experiences. As part of the bigBOX ALLGÄU, it offers a smaller but no less impressive stage for artists of various genres. I recently attended an indie concert there and was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is unique – family-like yet professional. As an audience member, you are very close to the stage, which creates an intense connection between artists and the audience. The acoustics are excellently tuned, even in the back rows, the sound comes through clear and powerful. The lighting technology also creates a moody backdrop that makes every event unforgettable. Access is barrier-free, which unfortunately is still not a given everywhere today. The staff was also very friendly, helpful, and well-organized. There were no long waiting times at the entrance or cloakroom. What I particularly appreciate: the drink prices are fair, and the selection of regional beers is top-notch. For longer breaks, a small snack offering would be nice. Conclusion: The Kultbox is a highlight of the Kempten cultural scene and a must for music lovers. A visit is worth it – clear 5 stars!
