Kultbox Kempten | Program & Parking
The kultBOX in Kempten is the flexible event space within the bigBOX ALLGÄU and is aimed at visitors, companies, and organizers looking for a versatile location in the heart of Allgäu. With its spacious foyer, integrated bar, and adaptable seating, it combines the atmosphere of a modern event space with the short distances of a central location in the city center. The official address of the ensemble is located at Kotterner Straße in Kempten, right next to the Forum Allgäu, and thus in an environment that consolidates hotels, gastronomy, event spaces, and service offerings in close proximity. For visitors, this means good orientation, for organizers, practical logistics, and for all guests, a venue that not only focuses on a single format but on versatility, professionalism, and accessibility. The kultBOX is described by the bigBOX ALLGÄU as a multifunctional space and is therefore particularly interesting when conferences, corporate celebrations, trade fairs, or cultural events are to take place in a clearly structured but not rigid framework. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/conference/detail/kultbox))
Current Program, Today and Upcoming Events
Those looking for Kultbox Kempten program, Kultbox today, or upcoming events will most reliably find it on the official pages of the bigBOX ALLGÄU. There, the ongoing offerings are regularly updated, allowing visitors to quickly see which shows, concerts, and special formats are upcoming. The spectrum of the location is deliberately broad: The official communication mentions pop and rock concerts, musicals, classical music, brass and folk music, as well as comedy, cabaret, theater, and poetry slam. This makes it clear that the kultBOX cannot be reduced to a single genre but is part of a house that appeals to a very diverse audience. For search queries like Kultbox Kempten events or Kultbox upcoming events, this is crucial: The location thrives on the diversity of the program and on event planning that regularly makes new occasions visible. Each event page also always provides the most important detail information such as entry, start time, ticket status, and format. This way, visitors can directly see whether an event is offered as a seated evening, standing format, or mixed form and whether there are still tickets available. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/))
For ticket inquiries, the venue is also well equipped. The bigBOX ALLGÄU refers to online purchases via the respective event page, to the ticket sales point on-site, as well as to telephone and written contact options. This is especially practical when one wants to book at short notice, needs multiple tickets, or prefers personal advice. Those who want to regularly check what is happening in Kempten can also subscribe to the newsletter and thus be informed early about new dates, pre-sales, and special events. This is particularly useful for popular events, as not every format remains available for long. The official FAQ also emphasizes that ticket purchases are also possible spontaneously, provided an event is not sold out. For the search intent Kultbox Kempten today, it is therefore not a static calendar page that is crucial, but the current event calendar of the bigBOX ALLGÄU with continuously maintained dates and clear purchasing paths. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/))
Access by Car, Parking, and Public Transport
The kultBOX is located in the city center of Kempten, directly next to the Forum Allgäu. According to the official page, arriving by car is uncomplicated; the target address is given as Kotterner Straße 62-64 or in the context of the organizer as Kotterner Straße 64. Around the bigBOX, several paid parking options are available within a maximum of five minutes' walk. These include the parking garage Forum Allgäu P10, the parking lot at the Allgäu-Halle, the parking garage at Colosseum P9, the underground garage K&L-Ruppert P11, the underground garage Zentralhaus P6, and the parking garage Allgäu Center P19. For show and concert visitors, it is particularly attractive that the parking garage Forum Allgäu can be used at an event price of €4.00. Those searching for Kultbox Kempten parking or Kultbox car will find exactly the practical information that is important for a stress-free arrival. The location in the city center appears urban and dense at first glance but is very well organized through the official parking offers. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/faqs))
The location is also well equipped for public transport access. The parking garage Forum Allgäu is open 90 minutes before to 90 minutes after the event and offers a total of 1,000 parking spaces on six levels, including 30 accessible parking spaces. The parking ticket can be validated directly in the basement of the bigBOX ALLGÄU to avoid unnecessary waiting times after the event. Those arriving without a car can reach the venue from Kempten main station in about 15 minutes on foot; additionally, the Forum Allgäu stop is only about two minutes away on foot. According to the conference brochure, city bus lines 4, 8, and 100, as well as other regional lines, stop there. Additionally, there is a FlixBus stop next to the bigBOX ALLGÄU, making it easier for guests from other cities to arrive. For visitors looking for a central event location with clear traffic management, this is a strong practical advantage. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/faqs))
Seating Plan, Seats, and Capacity
Regarding the Kultbox Kempten seating plan, there is no rigid solution for all events. The official FAQ explicitly states that the seating arrangement depends on the respective event. Many shows and concerts offer numbered seats, while others are planned as standing events or as a combination of both. For this reason, one should always check the seating plan directly on the event page and not assume a fixed duration order. For the kultBOX itself, the conference brochure mentions an area of 456 square meters. Depending on the seating arrangement, up to 350 people can be accommodated in reception format, 300 in parliament, 570 in row seating, and 276 in banquet format. The detail page also describes the room as ideal for larger conferences and corporate celebrations starting from 200 people. For search queries like Kultbox Kempten seats and Kultbox Kempten seating plan, this flexibility is key: The kultBOX is not a classic banquet hall with a one-time standard seating but a space that adapts to the respective event format. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/faqs))
Those asking about the best seats should always consider the specific event. In row seating, the view of the stage depends heavily on the setup, distance, and the stage concept used. In reception or banquet formats, on the other hand, movement, interaction, and quality of stay are prioritized, not the classic front view as in a rigid spectator arena. The kultBOX is designed for this adaptability: sometimes it appears focused and representative, sometimes open and communicative, sometimes as a clear event space and sometimes as an atmospheric area for networking or presentations. This makes the location interesting for organizers because they can stage the space appropriately for the target audience. For guests, this means that the assessment of the seats always depends on the respective evening, the seating plan, and the occasion. Those searching for Kultbox Kempten tickets or Kultbox Kempten seats should therefore not only pay attention to the total number but also to the type of event and the notes on the respective event page. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/conference))
The Room Concept of the Kultbox: Foyer, Bar, and Multifunctional Use
The kultBOX is not only an event space but also a flexible exhibition area for trade fairs, according to the official description. The spacious foyer with a bar serves as a reception area and creates space for arrival, exchange, and breaks. This is a significant advantage, especially for corporate celebrations, product presentations, and business events, as visitors do not have to wait in a cramped entrance area but can move in an open, representative environment. The room design can be adapted to different formats, so the kultBOX can appear more as a conference hall, show area, or networking area depending on its use. Combined with the central location in Kempten and the short distances within the house, a location is created that is suitable for both classic audience events and formal occasions. For the search intent Kultbox in the bigBOX Allgäu, this multifunctional idea is essential: The kultBOX is part of a larger house but is strong enough as a separate room to independently host events of manageable size. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/conference/detail/kultbox))
This structure also makes a difference in the everyday life of the event. Visitors benefit from a clear arrival area, a place for conversations before and after the program item, and an environment that is designed not only for throughput but for quality of stay. For organizers, the combination of room, foyer, and bar is particularly valuable because different scenarios can be developed from it: a classic conference in the morning, a product presentation in the afternoon, a corporate celebration in the evening, or a small show with audience traffic in the foyer. The kultBOX is thus a space that does not live from a single use but from its adaptability. This also explains why the bigBOX ALLGÄU describes this area as a jack-of-all-trades and explicitly recommends it for larger conferences, corporate celebrations, and exhibitions. Therefore, anyone looking for an event venue with clear infrastructure but does not need an oversized arena will find a very balanced setting in the kultBOX. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/conference/detail/kultbox))
Technology, Accessibility, and Logistics in Event Operations
The kultBOX is also technically designed for professional use. The technical set list includes modern projection solutions with a 16:10 image format of 400 by 234 centimeters, as well as additional video, lighting, and sound technology. This is particularly relevant for conferences, presentations, and hybrid business formats, as content can be clearly visible and professionally staged. For organizers, the logistical setup is also interesting: The loading gate is on the ground floor, the hall itself is in the basement, and the entire loading route to the hall is organized to be step-free and barrier-free via lift tables and elevators. The technical documentation also shows a comparatively short loading dimension, indicating that the room is also practically planned behind the scenes. For visitors, this aspect of the location is usually invisible, but it indirectly influences the quality of an event, as setup and teardown, technical changes, and crew movements function more efficiently. Those searching for Kultbox Kempten today, Kultbox parking, or Kultbox seats usually think first of the evening itself; however, for organizers, this professional infrastructure is an important part of the overall package. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/fileadmin/user_upload/technik/kultBOX_-_Techniksetliste_2024.pdf))
The strength of the kultBOX lies not only in its atmosphere but also in its functional resilience. The great flexibility of the seating, the available projection technology, and the barrier-free logistics show that the room is not improvised but designed for regular use. This is a significant difference from many purely event spaces that are visually attractive but organizationally limited. In the kultBOX, formats can switch between presentation, conversation, and audience without significant friction. For companies, agencies, and organizers, this is a clear advantage because the room concept can be adapted to the event goal instead of having to adapt the goal to the room. This professionalism makes the kultBOX in the bigBOX ALLGÄU a place that convinces both visually and operationally. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/conference/detail/kultbox))
Tickets, Hotel, and Catering for a Relaxed Visit
Those planning a longer evening benefit from the larger overall system of the bigBOX ALLGÄU. On the premises, there is an attached hotel, an in-house catering service, and the restaurant musics. The official website emphasizes short distances and a versatile gastronomy offering, allowing visitors to conveniently combine their stay with overnight accommodation or meals. For hotel guests, it is particularly practical that the transition to the event occurs directly and without detours, reducing waiting times and making the evening relaxed. This is a plus, especially for premieres, galas, or corporate events, as arrival, check-in, dining, and the event function seamlessly. Those who see the kultBOX not just as a single hall but as part of a complete event ecosystem quickly understand why the location is so often chosen for business and cultural formats. The bigBOX ALLGÄU positions itself not as a single hall but as a house where stay, service, and event interlock. ([bigboxallgaeu.de](https://www.bigboxallgaeu.de/))
The ticketing process is also kept simple: online via the respective event page, on-site at the ticket sales point, or by phone via the official number. The bigBOX also points out that visitors can contact them by email if needed. This is helpful for organizers and groups, as questions about contingents, special requests, or organizational details can be clarified quickly. Therefore, those searching for Kultbox Kempten should not only look at the seating plan but also always consider the organizational offerings of the house. Because the location connects program, gastronomy, hotel, and service in close proximity, which makes a significant difference between a normal appointment and a smoothly organized experience, especially for longer events. For the search terms Kultbox Kempten program, Kultbox upcoming events, Kultbox Allgäu, or bigBOX Allgäu kultBOX, this holistic approach is the decisive added value. Those searching for Kultbox Kempten tickets or Kultbox Kempten seats should therefore not only pay attention to the total number but also to the type of event and the notes on the respective event page.
The Kultbox proves once again what good event organization should look like. Right from the entrance, the excellent structure was noticeable: no unnecessary waiting, clear pathways, and a friendly team that made the start of the evening pleasantly easy. Particularly noteworthy is the beverage stand. Despite many visitors, things moved quickly, the staff was attentive, friendly, and well-coordinated. You never felt like you had to wait long – something that unfortunately differs in many other locations. The cloakroom was also excellently organized: quick service, no chaos, and a team that worked calmly and efficiently even during high traffic. Overall, the entire concert was excellently managed and provided a consistently positive experience. The Kultbox manages to combine atmosphere, organization, and service at a high level. Conclusion: Concerts here are really fun – absolute recommendation!

Festive place, great acoustics! But: please create a spot where you can breathe fresh air or refresh yourself with cool water! Everything is very warm, I had circulation problems because of that, but could only get fresh air in the smoking area(!). The tap water is exclusively warm.

The Kultbox in Kempten is a real insider tip for anyone who appreciates live music and intimate concert experiences. As part of the bigBOX ALLGÄU, it offers a smaller but no less impressive stage for artists of various genres. I recently attended an indie concert there and was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is unique – familial yet professional. As an audience member, you are very close to the stage, which creates an intense connection between artists and the audience. The acoustics are excellently tuned, even in the back rows the sound comes through clear and powerful. The lighting also creates a moody backdrop that makes every event unforgettable. Access is barrier-free, which unfortunately is still not a given everywhere today. The staff was also very friendly, helpful, and well-organized. There were no long waiting times at the entrance or cloakroom. What I particularly appreciate: The drink prices are fair, and the selection of regional beers is top-notch. For longer breaks, a small snack offering would be nice. Conclusion: The Kultbox is a highlight of the Kempten cultural scene and a must for music lovers. A visit is worth it – clear 5 stars!
