Very good university academically. I've studied here for over 3 years and had some really great professors who challenged and supported me. The university is located in the beautiful Allgäu and the not-so-beautiful Kempten. Culturally, you shouldn't expect too much from this provincial town, but you can actually have a lot of fun here. Recommendation: try to get a spot in the student dormitory Zugspitz-wohnheim, it's very cheap and there's a bar! Oh yeah, little tip: don't use the toilet on the 2nd floor of the T building, it smells unusually strong of pee there.
